Getting to Bodø wasn’t that difficult, thanks to Bjørn and his direct ride and lunch. Arrived there before it even got dark, which never really happen before the last two weeks in Norway. Big thanks for that! Hurray Bjørn!
Now, the thing is, that once I’ve driven past the monument of the Arctic Circle, I realized how far up North I was, although till Nordkapp there were still few hundreds if not a thousand to go… Great! I though to myself, this is fascinating! Awesome, Fantastic, Mind-blasting!
There were a lot of things prepared for me by my lovely host, Anne: cabin for a night or two, crazy party, drinks, food, fun… Awesome! So I will try to create the atmosphere of the week-end from the pictures and leave the rest to everyone’s fantasy!
OK, so that was Friday. After Thursday of course. We had a beer dinner, slept. Friday was cabin day with drunk card games, magic, laughs and snowbathing. Went back home Saturday afternoon to prepare for the big night out in some jazzy theme bar or something. Loads of news on vorspiel (the drinking one, not the sexy one) and loads of people around.
Party lasted next day until around 6pm, so kind of 24hour thingy, just drinking, chilling chatting. More of that as well:
So yeah, that sort of summarizes the experience here. More or less. There where of course side-effects and more stuff, but that’s for everyone’s imagination.
And I’ve seen the Northern Lights, but that seems to be not so important anymore, now that I’m writing this entry… I had one of the best week-ends ever. Although Sunday morning I was sitting between 4-5 gorgeous Norwegian women and I couldn’t understand a bit of what they were talking, it was still worth it! They were all great, just the way there were. This week-end will be down deep there.
Conclusion is that Anne is a fantastic person and we live hard and die young
Thanks a million and more!
